EARLY MODEL!  This has the earliest tang stamp that was used by Remington.
 
Remington UMC R693.  Single blade hawkbill with genuine bone scales.  All carbon steel (no brass) and bone.  Even the liners are carbon steel.
 
GREAT CHANCE FOR A REMINGTON UMC COLLECTOR!
 
Bolsters are in good shape.  All  pins are in place and good.  The scales have no chips.  On tight and mostly unopened hairline in part of one scale.  Blade is in good shape with some signs of age.  Snap when fully open.  No snap at hafl stop or close.  Both tang stamps can still be read as seen in pictures.  SEE PICTURES.
