They made two types of Remington R100A model knives.  One with a covered spring and one without.  This one is without the covered spring.

Remington USA model R100A pocket knife.  Triple blade stockman.  Made in the USA.  Marked "REMINGTON USA" and "R100A".
 
Scales are great with no cracks or chips.  Still has its badge.  No broken blades.  Blades do have some signs of age.   Main blade has no snap.  The other two blades do have snap.  SEE PICTURES.
